Where on the map can you find Argentina? How about Indonesia? What kinds of animals live in Africa? How do you become a doctor? Children in Europe and Australia probably already know the answers to these questions, because they have access to books at home and at school. For the Balinese, however, things are different. The children of Bali are just as eager to learn about the world around them as European and Australian children, but opportunities to do so are few. Books are expensive in Indonesia, and as a result, many cannot afford to buy them. For the children, and for adults as well, we have set up a public library in northern Bali. The name of the library is Coba Baca.
